How I Wind Down Before Bed Time


Once I've put my son to bed I knock out a couple of hours of gold ole' uninterrupted work and then my wind down process begins.


Step 1

Regardless of if I am wearing a full face of makeup or wore no makeup at all I always go through my evening skin care routine to remove the dirt and grime that built up on my skin throughout the day. Check out my night-time beauty routine here.

Step 2

As much as I'd like to have a cup of coffee at night after many sleepless nights I've learned that I absolutely can not drink coffee after 5PM unless I want to stay awake until 3AM.

I've fallen in love with having a cup of hot tea in the evening and sometimes I add a bit of milk if I'm feeling fancy, here are a couple of my favorites:


I love drinking lemon ginger tea if I have just eaten dinner,

it stimulates the process of digestion and helps the food you've just eaten pass through easily.

Step 3

I purchased a google home last year during the holidays and me and G are besties. Right before I snooze I ask google to play nature tunes and I have the most peaceful night of sleep
