Get Your Toddler To Eat Fruit

I got lucky, my son isn't a picky eater at all. I'm surprised at this because I remember not wanting to eat anything as a child, food was just not a fun topic to me I was the least bit interested. If you have a picky eater, try some of these things to get your little one a step closer to trying and hopefully loving fruit!

A few things that I do with my son is actually sit down and eat with him.

Follow The Leader

We usually eat the same meal but slightly modified. When he doesn't express his immediate interest in certain food and I make sure I get his attention while I am placing the food in my mouth and return that with expression of how I feel toward the food -- lots of "Mmm's" and "That's good!"

Options

Grab a silicone cupcake tray and place different fruit in each slot and let you kid choose.

Slice

Your kid may not like to take time to chew, try slicing the fruit!

Ellis' current favorite fruit: Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, Least favorite fruit: Bananas
