How To Keep Life Simple

Life can be a very complicated process. It is full of obligations, plans, goals, needs, expectations of others, self-expectations, adversities, problems, pressures, stressors, opportunities and a variety of projects, activities, and things in general. Most people join the already complicated nature of life with a series of emotional and physical attachments that inhibit a sense of balance, harmony, inner peace, happiness, and joy.

Simplifying your life can range from an arduous and painful task to a pleasant and edifying process that frees you from mental attachments to things and people; it just depends to a large extent on who you are, what you believe and what you think you want out of life.

There is a series of books printed today on the merits and virtues of simple life. Some would recommend moving to a small cabin in the forest without modern amenities and away from the interactions of people, media and technology, while others recommend spending the day cleaning their closet. And, everything in between.
